Franklin Interiors partnered with a nonprofit organization that provides collaborative work space for early-stage entrepreneurs and their companies.
The goal was to help articulate their vision “to build a community-connected campus of entrepreneurial activity,” in the design and furnishing of the historic Paramount building.
The redevelopment brings up to 6+ companies and 60+ jobs to the historic Paramount site. With over 8,000 square feet, this adaptive-reuse collaboration uniquely combines business innovation and arts-culture.
Franklin Interiors worked alongside Thoughtful Balance Architects to introduce fresh ideas for an inspiring and flexible work environment. Working together — Design, Project Management, and Installation teams helped to articulate and make an old space new by developing appropriate solutions to make their high-tech, innovative vision work within budget:
- Flexible workstations to accommodate changing environments and seamless reorganization
- Free-address workspaces to allow for day-to-day workstyle variation
- Collaborative areas to foster brainstorming and innovative thinking
- Lounge areas to encourage community
