Planning is the most critical component of a successful relocation. Our team identifies key employees, vendors and consultants and includes them in the planning stage. Together we create a detailed plan, outlining each person’s role and responsibilities. The move plan is a living document, which is constantly updated as conditions change. Critical job tools, such as computers, printers and phones are identified; getting this equipment unpacked and back on-line is critical to minimizing downtime.
Several days prior to moving, employees receive customized move packets. Each packet contains information about the move, new location plans, box labels and instructions on how and what to pack. Should questions or problems arise, we include extensive “who to call” lists and make ourselves available via telephone or email. Throughout the move, we’re on-site to answer questions and assist in any way that we can.
Your move can be phased or done after hours, overnight or on weekends. Our move services team will coordinate the entire event. We ensure that your building’s administrators are notified, all contents are “move ready”, and that information technology teams are standing by to take down and re-install all computers and technology items. The first day that employees occupy their new home, a Franklin Interiors team of Installers and Technicians works on-site to take care of any on-the-spot adjustments or minor issues that arise.
