Elevating the HQ Experience

Built to support performance and retention
Architect: Walker Design
Location: Lake Mary, Florida
Scope: Furniture

The Challenge:

Creating a Cohesive Headquarters Experience

As part of the client’s headquarters project in Lake Mary, this global financial organization wanted the 4th floor to support talent retention by creating a workplace that brings out the best in their people. The space needed to balance focused work, collaboration, and informal connection while staying consistent with corporate standards and budget expectations. With multiple stakeholders involved, the client needed a partner who could guide furniture planning and manage the details through installation with minimal disruption.

The Solution:

Strategic Furniture Planning Backed by Trusted Partnership

Leveraging a long-standing relationship with the client, Franklin partnered closely with Walker Design to program and furnish a high-functioning 4th floor environment within the headquarters project. Steelcase solutions were selected to align with corporate standards while supporting long-term durability and performance.

The final plan included:
  • Workstations designed to balance privacy and openness while supporting productivity
  • Conference rooms and meeting rooms to support structured collaboration and hybrid needs
  • Collaboration areas that encourage informal teamwork and quick touch-down meetings
  • A café space that functions as both a social hub and an informal meeting destination
From early-stage planning through installation, Franklin provided design support, budget planning, and project management to keep the process coordinated, efficient, and aligned with expectations.

The Impact:

A Headquarters Floor Built for Performance and Longevity

The completed 4th floor delivers a cohesive workplace environment that supports focused work, collaboration, and day-to-day connection. The space provides a clear mix of individual work areas, meeting settings, and open collaboration zones, while maintaining consistency with corporate standards. Franklin’s budget planning and project oversight helped keep the project aligned with expectations and completed in Q4 2024. The result is a high-performing headquarters floor that reflects a long-term investment in employee experience and workplace functionality.
