Location: South Point, OH
Scope: Furniture

The Challenge:

Expanding a Workplace to Match a Growing Vision.

As Intermountain Electronics planned a major renovation and addition to its South Point facility, the company needed a furniture partner who could help bring their updated workspace to life. The goal was to create a cohesive environment that supported both everyday operations and long-term growth — a space that reflected the company’s culture of innovation and collaboration.

With multiple departments and settings across two floors, the project required careful planning to ensure a consistent design language from workstations and private offices to the executive suite and boardroom.

The Solution:

A Collaborative Process Shaped By Insight and Experience.

Franklin worked closely with Cindy Strickland Designs to bring the expanded Intermountain facility to life. From early planning through installation, the Franklin team helped ensure the furniture and overall environment aligned with the project’s design vision and performance goals.

To help guide key decisions, the client team visited the HON showroom in Washington, DC, where they explored solutions that have balanced function, flexibility, and cohesive design. Those insights helped shape a furniture plan that supported how employees work, meet, and collaborate across the new space.

Franklin furnished a variety of areas across both floors, including:
  • Reception and Entry Areas
  • Workstations
  • Private and Executive Offices
  • Open Huddle Zones
  • Conference Rooms and Boardroom
  • The Break Room
The result is a cohesive, high-performing environment that reflects Intermountain’s forward-looking culture and commitment to connection.

The Impact:

A Workplace Designed for Connection and Progress.

The new furniture supports a culture of collaboration and teamwork, helping employees engage more easily across departments. Thoughtful space planning and consistent design elements create a sense of unity throughout the building, while modern furnishings enhance comfort, productivity, and flexibility.

The refreshed environment reflects Intermountain’s forward-thinking approach — one that values both people and performance. The client’s satisfaction was clear: they were so pleased with the outcome that Franklin was invited to furnish additional Intermountain facilities.
